Case study No. 6:
You are manager of a small department. It’s Tuesday and you are approached by your best employee with a request to allow her to take the next workday – off. You ask her what she needs that day for. After a short hesitation, she decided to be honest with you and she shares that she is going to an interview for a new job.
You're shocked. It comes immediately to your mind that losing your best specialist will seriously undermine your department results.
